AI Video Localization & Dubbing
One video.
Every market.
Global Video Pros localizes video with AI: we translate the script, review it before release, generate a matching voice in each language, add lip-sync where the footage suits it, and version on-screen text and captions. Localization projects start at $2,500.
How AI video
localization works.
AI video localization turns a finished video into versions for other languages. The script is translated, a voice is generated for each language, either a matched version of the original speaker's voice with consent or a selected AI voice, and the audio is mixed back under the original music and effects. Where the presenter is on camera, AI lip-sync can adjust mouth movement so they appear to speak the new language.
Localization is more than audio. On-screen text, lower thirds, supers, captions, and end cards are versioned too, and some scenes or claims may need adapting for a market rather than translating word for word.
Compared with traditional dubbing or reshooting, AI localization is usually faster and costs less per language, which makes it practical to give every market the same launch film, training course, or executive message.
Good candidates
- Product launch and brand films
- Training, onboarding, and compliance courses
- Executive and internal messages
- Explainers and product walkthroughs
- Paid-social ads entering new markets
Every layer of
the video.
Script translation
Translation adapted for the screen, so lines fit the timing and sound natural when spoken.
Human review
Every translated script is reviewed before release, with your in-market team invited to approve.
Voice and dubbing
A consented voice match of the original speaker, or a selected AI voice, mixed under the original music.
Lip-sync
AI lip-sync for on-camera presenters where the shot size and footage quality suit it.
On-screen text
Lower thirds, supers, graphics, and end cards rebuilt in each language.
Captions and subtitles
Burned-in and sidecar caption files for every language version.
Reviewed by people,
not just models.
Machine translation is fast but not always right, especially for product names, regulated claims, and tone. Every localized script is reviewed before release, and we ask your in-market colleagues to approve anything customer-facing.
Voice cloning uses a real person's voice, so we only do it with their written consent and an agreed scope of use. If consent is not possible, we use a selected AI voice instead.
- Human review of every translated script
- Glossary of product names and terms that must not change
- In-market approval step for customer-facing video
- Voice cloning only with written consent
- Final quality check of sync, mix, and on-screen text
Which videos to
localize first.
Most teams have more video than budget to translate it. Start with the videos that do the most work in each market: the ones that sell, onboard, or train, and that will stay accurate for a while. Short, evergreen, presenter-led videos usually deliver the best return.
Leave fast-changing content, such as monthly updates or time-limited offers, until the workflow is proven, or plan it for an AI spokesperson so updates are cheap.
- Product and launch films for priority markets
- Onboarding and compliance training
- Top-performing paid-social ads
- Executive messages to a global workforce
- Evergreen explainers and walkthroughs
Dub, lip-sync,
or subtitle?
| Approach | What viewers get | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Subtitles only | Original audio with translated captions | Social video, fast turnaround, low budgets |
| AI voice dubbing | Translated voiceover mixed under the original music | Voiceover-led explainers, training, and ads |
| Dubbing with lip-sync | The on-camera presenter appears to speak the language | Presenter-led and executive video |
| Re-versioned edit | Translated audio plus market-specific scenes or claims | Launches and campaigns with local differences |

Source & glossary
We collect the master, project files if available, and a glossary of names and terms.
Translate & review
Scripts are translated, adapted for timing, and reviewed before any audio is made.
Voice, sync & text
Voices are generated, lip-sync applied where suitable, and on-screen text rebuilt.
Mix & deliver
Each language is mixed, checked, captioned, and delivered in every format you need.
Turnaround depends on runtime, the number of languages, and review rounds. Localization can be added to any new GVP production or applied to video you already own.
One presenter,
many languages.
This clip from our reel shows one presenter video versioned into several languages, displayed as a wall of localized cuts, including a Spanish version.
Each version keeps the same picture, music, and brand graphics, with translated voice, captions, and on-screen text.
What it costs.
AI video localization at Global Video Pros starts with the Middle package at $2,500. Runtime, the number of languages, whether lip-sync is needed, and how much on-screen text must be rebuilt drive the final quote.
